What Is Normal Weight Loss

When people lose weight, they often lose some muscle and bone mass
as well, but a new study has found that changes in the bone may
continue even after weight stabilizes. Normally, bones break down
and are rebuilt with new tissue even among people who are not
losing weight. But weight loss speeds up this process, and
researchers say that this "remodeling" process is a cause for
concern because bones become more fragile as they are rebuilt.
