Diabetics Get Less Benefit from Good Cholesterol: Study

According to new research, diabetes lowers the heart-protecting benefits of HDL (good) cholesterol. But the good news is that researchers have also found that giving diabetics niacin, which raises good cholesterol, may restore this cholesterol's benefits.
