Four Habits That Could Shave 12 Years Off Your Life

British scientists say that four common habits may make the difference between living into your 80s and dying in your 60s, or before. Eating fatty foods, smoking, drinking, and being a couch potato are known to increase your risk of health problems, but the more bad habits you have, the worse it may be. A study of 5,000 people over the course of 20 years found that those who had all four vices were three times as likely to have died from heart disease or cancer when compared to people who had none of the vices.
