Grapes Could Reduce Diabetes, Heart Risks

Wine has been lauded for its potential health properties, but new research suggests that the common grape may be equally as beneficial. Researchers fed two groups of mice a typical, fatty, American-style diet, but one group also got a combination of red, white, and green grapes. After three months, the mice given the grapes had lower triglycerides, lower blood sugar, and lower blood pressure than the other group.
