Byetta Appears to Fight Inflammation

The diabetes drug Byetta appears to be a powerful anti-inflammatory effect as well, new research suggests. Scientists from the University of Buffalo found that the anti-inflammatory effect occurred regardless of weight loss--a factor that could help inhibit atherosclerosis, strokes, and gangrene in diabetic patients, experts say.
