My brother-in-law is obese; he has high blood pressure, bad knees and back, diabetes, and poor circulation in his legs which cause fluid to secrete from his skin.
Poor eating and drinking habits have been a life long struggle, now at 60 we fear if he doesn't get some help soon he may, at best loose his legs and at worst die sooner rather than later.
He has NO will power; retired he stays home all day watching the food network, his only exercise is going to the store to shop for dinner. His family is desperate and needs some advice. At this point we feel an intervention in conjunction with a stay at a "fat farm" is needed. It's clear he can't make necessary changes on his own and needs professional help; psychology behind his reasons for eating, nutritional and exercise programs.
Please help! We need some solid advise where and how to take the next appropriate step.
Thank you
