When you exercise, make sure you do something with suitable intensity. If it is changing your body composition, then I would ensure that you get some resistance/weight training in twice a week, and supplement with with some sustained but lower-level fat burning work.

Diet is important. Eating as nature intended (eg, regular protein, omega 3 oils, little carbohydrate by todays standards) will remove this as an obstacle. 5-6 small meals beats 3 big ones.

Also, take care of your sleep, don't allow yourself to get too stressed, plenty of water (not tea/coffee/alcohol) and a good multivitamin would all be a good start.

FIrst of all, do NOT cut out anything.  That is what causes binges!

Use portion control in your meals and don't skimp on veggies and fruits.

One easy way may be to work on one meal at a time.  If you do not eat breakfast, start doing so.  If you do eat breakfast, work on eating healthy foods only.  Do this for a month and it will come naturally to you.  Then you can start on changing the next meal!
