Smart Tips for Healthier Food Shopping

Keep your next shopping trip healthy.

Download Guide

Hello,

I am trying to lose weight and get off blood pressure medication.  Today is my first day of eating heart healthy.  I found a few tips while searching for meal plans online and wanted to share them with others.

  • Commit to consuming 4-6 small meals and snacks everyday.
  • Plan ahead by packing your foods the night before. Thus you should always have fresh and lowfat foods.
  • Keep it simple.  Start by just smiply counting calories or points.
  • Eat your foods slower
  • Make healtier food selections
  • Avoid foods high in fat, sugar, and calories
  • Use a variety of fruits and vegetables in your nutrition plan. Eat 5 servings everyday

I hope someone finds this helpful!
