I am currently attempting to lose weight.  I am quite obese.  I started at 392lbs and am down to 374lbs.  It took me 6 weeks to get to 374 and I have since stopped losing weight entirely.  It's been 3 weeks and I haven't dropped any weight, and my measurements haven't changed.&nbs...

Well first off you don't want to go below 1000 because this is not enough food for your stats.   I would make sure the 1800 calories you are eating is small portions and healthy.  Also your workout routine is average at best.  You need to workout 4-5 days a week for about 45 minutes.  You need to include more walking and jogging.  You workout routine is not burning enough calories.

I think you really need to look at what you thinkyour burning every day. Based onthe numbers I've seen it's more like 2000 calories a day with light activity. If that's the case then your really only at a defict of about 500 calories a day. Your right you should still be losing a lb a week or so. I've lost 163 lbs since January and some weeks were better then others. Make sure your at the 1500 to 1700 calories a day for your intake and boost up your excersies. Make sure the 1500 calories are good calories and eat a little something every 2 hours, this will help your body to realize that it's not starvation and you'll see the weight start coming off again.
