    I sometimes use a heart rate monitor during my commute (by bike). On 5/15/2008, Bike To Work Day, my MHR was 151, AHR was 137. I had another HRM that estimates calories burned. According to that, I burned 9000 calories during one bike ride to San Francisco. I have had a combination HRM and GPS, which I used frequently.
