Believe it or not, words have power and enormous influence over your success because they influence your attitude. One such word is "Working Out." because most successful people don't "Workout" they TRAIN. Whats the difference? More than just semantics, it's about attitude and outlook.
Try it; instead of saying the dreaded I'm going to workout, say I'm going to train. If you look at the word workout, it's not that motivating. 8 out or 10 people have negative feelings about working at anything. The word training is more inspiring, it signifies a lifetime pursuit, a learning process and it means you are getting better.
I see it at my gym every day. If you approach exercise with the "hard work" mentality it will not serve you in the long term. You have to be able to motivate yourself to keep exercising in the long term and for most people the word training will do that.
So next time before you exercise, see yourself performing beyond your wildest dreams. Envision yourself training with confidence and passion. Train hard and I guarantee you'll enjoy exercising and make it a life long habit.
