I think fat burning supplements have their place, but only as an add on to a sound diet and exercise plan. Sometimes we reach weight plateaus that are tough to budge from - that would be an instance where fat burners would be useful. However, exercise and diet come first, since they are really the calorie cornerstones of our lives. I can recommend a site where you can get dozens of (free) cutting-edge articles on diet and nutrition by registered dietitians on how to lose weight and keep it off. In addition, there are hundreds of exercises posted (also free) with computer modeling that you can do right at home. If you need help putting a plan together and staying on track there are also coaching options.
Despite proper diet and exercise there are ways to enhance results with fat burners. One example is animal cuts ( Fat burner) Its used by bodybuilders and many other people who want to burn fat and keep lean tissue. Pharmacuticals are very advanced and most drugs come from food based sources dont get me wrong BUT some fat burners DO HELP. So dont knock them entirely. Weight loss is not easy nor is diet but every little bit helps.

My motto is. Do Whatever you have to do to get in the gym and kick your own butt. Whether it be drinking that coffee for energy, having that fat burn caffine pill or whatever. Just get in there and work your butt of because it isnt easy.
I did little dieting( lite mayo, extra lettuce little things like this.) and lots of exercise and lost over 80 lbs now im in a pleteau and fat burners are helping me over come it.
IT is also a known fact that items like GREEN TEA and OOLONG TEA BURN MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FAT.
I enjoyed your article and I agree whole heartedly. I have spent a lot of money on products that did not work, or popping pills that possibly could hurt my health in the long run.
I had to chuckle because I thought of something. When I was much younger I always wanted to cook desserts. I tried for over 40 years and crossed my fingers. Well, 40 years have gone by and I still can't make dessert. I changed the pots I used, changed the cooking utensils, changed the products I used for new ones, and guess what! It never worked.
I tried lots of fat-reducing products, whey protein, changed gyms and thought it would be cheaper; but they are all approximately the same.
After many years of reflection I decided to make my own gym at home. I have everything I need here. I have a stationery bike, an elastic band, weights for my personal needs. I just love it. What even better, you can find great buys for what you need. I have a great view out my window. Carry an ipod, have a DVD player, play some good music while I do my workout. Somtimes I do Salsa exercises. Try to cover all the basis.
I wanted to let viewers know, that it doesn't have to cost a lot to make your own gym at home and stay healthy.
