I really need help finding a diet and exercise plan that I will stick to. I am always extremely busy. I go to college full time and I work as a waitress around 30 hours a week. Between classes, homework, work, family, friends, & errands, I don't have much time for anything else. I have tried many different diet and exercise plans over the course of the past 4 or 5 years. I can never stick with them because once my work or school schedule changes, my exercise plan or diet plan conflicts with it. It's hard for me to eat healthy all the time because I have to eat out a lot when I'm not at home. I love going to the gym, but I am not a morning person and I like to relax at night. Maybe I'm just making excuses, but I just feel too tired to work out when I actually have some free time. I am exhausted from the other parts of my life. Please help me!

I have pretty much the same story, but about a year and a half ago I found the only thing that worked for me and I started working for them.   I don't know if you have ever heard of Metabolic Research Center but that is what changed my life- my job now is to help other people get the weight off they have tried so long to do- I lost 52 lbs in 6 months and never really worked out- actually this program was designed for bed ridden patients by a physician.  It is easy to stick to and the results are instant! let me know what city you live in and i can see if there is one nearby- if not we can do it through email and mail order. I would love to help you- If you want more info let me know-  Jessica B

okay im annoyed lol bc i wasnt finished writing and by accidently i posted...so back to what i was saying!  I have started to reintroduce exercise into my routine by making realistic goals.  You really don't have to exercise every single day.  In fact, it is better to exercise five out of the seven days of the week, because your body needs time to relax and recooperate.  I enjoy walking because it is something that i can do easyily without going to the gym.  I try to walk five times a week for an hour.  When i have trouble fitting it into my schedule sometimes i break it down into smaller intervals, like half hours or twenty minute walking sessions.  I find walking nice because i am able to use it as my way of de-stressing.  It it is nice, walk outside.  The sunshine will definately do you good, it helps with the winter blues.  Don't forget your ipod; i have found it makes my walks more pleasurable.  For me, walking also helps me combat my cravings for a cigarette.  Try fitting some walking into that busy schedule of yours, it just may be the key to making everything seem less chaotic... wishing you all the best :)julia

hey jess...i can really relate to what you are dealing with.  I go to college full time and work as a teacher's aid for an after school program.  Almost all my free time is spent hanging out with my boyfriend (the two of us are inseparable)  While it is awesome to have a boyfriend who is also your best friend it can become difficult when it comes to making healthy eating choices and exercising.  I started eating like him and putting my exercise off (which meant usually that it just became neglected and never made up forWacko)  My boyfriend and i are both italian so we frequently eat pizza, which usually translated into the two of us splitting a pie down the center!!!!!  This new year brought with it a sense of determination.  I have been trying to eat healthier, exercise regularly, and quit smoking.  While it is hard, each day i successfully get through brings encouragement.
