Judge's Table
The actual dishes themselves are not important. I could have guessed the top 3 and bottom 3 without the chefs even picking up their knives. I officially have no favorites this season - some looked promising at the beginning, but at this point everyone looks totally uninspired. I root for Jamie until she makes scallops AGAIN and then ruins her win with her cockiness. Ariane is still surprisingly solid, but showing that she just knows how to play the game. Stefan is on top because, well, he can actually cook.
Eugene and Melissa should have been eliminated in the last episode, but Bravo forces us to watch them crash and burn for one more week. Carla's on the bottom too, mainly because she lacks confidence. I'm glad she's saved because although her dishes don't do much for me, her personality is one of the only things keeping me watching. She's also the only honest one there.
Eugene keeps repeating that his ideas are maybe just too wild and crazy, but he hasn't showed us anything wild and crazy - just not well thought out. Melissa is that contestant, who continually begs for the chance to finally show how creative she is. When your challenge is to make ANYTHING and you make fish tacos, you just blew your chance.

More uninspired dishes, more shots of Tom looking disappointed...can we put Toby Young on the chopping block?
