I am a 50 year old white female with DMII.I was dx about 5 years ago. I am noncompliant with diet and exercise.Sugars range about 250 fasting to 350 2hrs after eating. I had to have a complete thyroidectomy 3/08 because of thyroid cancer. Ever since my surgery my perphieal neuropathy in my hands and feet are getting worse. I have had to quite work.I am taking 2400mg of Neurontin a day, Januvia qd, Amaryl 4m bid and 275mcg of Synthyroid. I am tired of not doing what is right and desire with all my heart to change my life style. My biggest addiction is Coke's or pop of any kind. I feel that I have found a place that can offer some help.
