I recently watched a talk show on ABC in the morning. They recommended the following Vitamins and supplements. Vitamin D. This vitamin is not produced by our body. We can only get this Vitamin mainly from the sun. Cod Liver Oil Fiber- Fibercon, Metamucil, Citicrel Ie Calcium -Viactive ie The program stated that these supplements are good in order to be a healthier person. I saw this program during the first week of 2009. I hope this help. You can check with your doctor for better advise. Regards

If you are showing no particular deficiency signs and your diet is balanced and healthy then you probably don't need to take any.  You need to be careful not to 'overdose' on some vitamins (i.e. get them from your diet and then more from a supplement) as they can cause damage to internal organs.

Best advice - check your general eating habits to increase natural sources of vitamins and remove items that can deplete them.
