I am 150 lbs but only 5ft 2 ins and I have set a fitness goal of losing over 20 pounds, my challenge is I do not particularly like to exercise and I enjoy cooking!!!what type of exercise program would you recommend to help me meet my goal???

Well I am definitely no expert so all I can say is what works for me. I do what I like. I realized that any type of excercise is helpful in the goal of weight loss. I started slow and built up as I went along and now I get in some type of excercise daily. I started out dancing to music. then muscle toning and now I am able to walk and jog in the park. I definitely could not jog before. I have lost 13 lbs and it has been constant progression. I didn't gain any of it back. I excercise on an impulse. Whenever i have a few minutes and sometimes I go for an hour without realizing it. I also copy excercises that i see aerobic instructors do. Most important is to do what feels good, don't put any pressure on yourself and analyze your progress according to how your clothes fit, your weight on the scale and new things your body is able to do. good luck and I hope you reach your goal. By the way. I love to cook as well. I usually pick up cookbooks focused on healthy cooking for new and exciting tips. My current weight is 183lbs and my current goal is to be 155lbs on wedding day at the end of May.
