Hope you are still going strong.

I know what you mean about not being able to stop eating.

I quit smoking about 7 months ago and have substituted 1 habit for another.

Renee, I have been dieting since Feb. and my whole family is doing it with me. Is your husband and kids doing it with you? We decided not to call it a diet but a life change to make everyone learn how to eat right and be healthy. Out family total since then is 170 lbs. I have lost 75 alone. I definetly makes a difference to have help. We dont do any lean cuisine or slim fast though. We follow the GI Index diet by Rick Gallop. You should be able to find it any book store near you. You get to eat real food. Since we started this I have a email group of 80 people that we send recipes and support back and forth. The ones that follow it are loosing great. My 10 year old has even lost 45 lbs. This diet will let you eat!!!! Let me know if you need more help. Cindy

I really do not recommend dieting via pills and shakes. If you change your eating habits rather than substitute eating with pills and shakes, you establish healthy eating habits for life. Also, a one pound loss in 4 days is pretty good. You should aim for 1.5 pounds every week. Any more than that and you risk gaining it back when you're done. Lose too much, too fast, and you could be damaging your heart and other organs. There's no such thing as a quick fix!
