New Year's Resolution Blogger: Real Houswives and Diet

T. G. Bennett Health Guide
  • My name is T.G. Bennett and I am a Bravo Real Housewives fan. Don't hold it against me. I don't watch that much television so I can have a few guilty pleasures n'est ce pas?

Now as quiet as its kept ( a few close friends know) I really only like the Real Housewives of New York. Here's why -- they're really fit and really funny.  Bethenny is my superhero.  Not only is she the spokesperson for Pepperidge Farm but she is the author of the Skinny Girl craze.  You know, if not perhaps you've been hiding in a tent on a campground somewhere in West Virginia. No no I'm not saying anything negative about West Virginia, I hear they've got super campgrounds and hiking there... try Spruce Knob in Seneca Rocks or Holly River in Morgantown.

Back to Bethenny, well, throughout every season of the Real Housewives of New York (RHNY) we see the Natural Foods chef surfing, eathing healthy, walking, sharing healthy recipes even drinking low calorie liquor! Low calorie liquor -- How could this be you ask? Well its possible folks and not just with Bethenny's signature Skinny Girl Magarita.

Ok so you know I'm a Bethenny Frankel fan but I've also got to hand it to the other cast members who don't just sit around and gossip (pull people down,) but they actually are getting their fitness on.  The newest castmate socalite Sonja Morgan does yoga and so does Countess Luann Delesseps and lets not forget Ramona Singer who by far wins the award as most fit! And on the show, she claims to have achieved her near pefect figure through exercise folks. She's 49 plus and has the figure of an 18-year old. What the heck? How is this possible?

I've never seen socalite Jill Zarin and Alex McCord do any exercise on the show but they're also in great shape.  I get a great charge from this show and the women show that you're never too old to get in shape.

Since Bethenny is my hero, I'll just have to run out and buy her Naturally Thin best selling book because I hear its chock full of great recipes and tips on eating right and maintaining your fitness goals even if you're not naturally a size 0 like she is.
