The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic games are well underway and we at HealthCentral couldn't be more excited!

With that, here is Olympics update #1:
After a rivitting opening ceremony and several days of competition, team USA has earned 14 medals with Germany close behind with 10 medals and France with 7 medals.
US snowboarder Shaun White clinched gold in the men's half pipe while US snowboarder Lindsay Vonn has been dominating women's downhill skiing.
Meanwhile, Apollo Anton Ohno, Chad Hendrick, J.R. Celski and Shani Davis have been racking up medals for the U.S. speed skating team.
Today, U.S. figure skater Johnny Weir will continue his quest for men's figure skating gold.
