I'm glad to see this topic surface once again. Being a person with strong simple-sugar weakness, I appreciate being reminded of the importance of minimizing foods with large amounts of simple sugars in them. I find a hint of honey or molasses, the more natural simple-sugar choices, can satisfy my cravings for all the cookies and cakes and pastries out there - ugh! Grapes and other sweet fruits work well, too. Thanks for the great information.
