Being the true sugar bug I am, I was excited when I first started to read your SharePost stating that there are "no recommended daily intake levels for sugar." Hooray!
Ah...but then...the bad news (and what I already knew well, but had quickly blocked out in a fit of temporary denial): sugar=calories. I get a kick out of people I know who love to snack on treats such as licorice or various candies and what not because they are "no fat." True...but no fat does not mean "no calorie."
Bummer.
Thanks for your answer to this question. Back to mini pretzels and baby carrots.
