About Me

Heather Reese, MS, RD has worked in the nutrition industry for eight years. She received a Bachelors degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) and went on to work as a business reporter in Baltimore, Maryland. She then received a graduate degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons College in Boston, MA and completed her dietetic internship at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. Heather has worked as a Clinical Dietitian in several hospitals around the Washington, DC metropolitan area serving a variety of patient populations. She has also served as Deputy Program Manager of the Weight-control Information Network, an information service of the National Institutes of Health. In her current position, as an Early Childhood Nutritionist, Heather works with preschool children and their parents to lay the foundation for a lifetime of healthy living.
