About Me

Hello! We are Josh and Nicole Lifford of East TN. We both have struggled with our weight for nearly all of our lives. There was only one time in my life where I didn’t suffer from Obesity. That was when I left the United States Marine Corps in October 2000. After the Marine Corps the pounds began to creep back upon me. After Nicole and I married in June 2001 we found out that our son was coming in August. During the pregnancy I gained over 100lbs in six months. For the last eight years of my life I have lived, but miserably in an obese state. I’ve tried gym’s, Ultra-Slimfast, Stacker, Hydroxycut, (all versions) I’ve tried products from GNC, Quixtar, Amway, Herbalife, Walmart, etc. I’ve tried cutting my caloric intake, all of which produced no results. We walked, exercised but never could get past losing 40lbs which still left me severely overweight. After going on and off several “diets” my metabolism just shut down. I even tried religiously “The Six Week Body Makeover Program”. All of these left me irritable all the time and constantly with NO Energy!
