Quinoa & Basmati Rice compliment

Hi, I have been combining equal amonts (by volume) of basmati rice and quinoa and wanted to add lentils to the mix to make a more complete protein.  How many lentils would do the trick for me?  Also, what might be a more optimal ratio for the quinoa/rice?   Thanks, Evelyn
