Workout method

Is is harmful to do a workout in which the upper body and lower body is integrated into one thing? Like do a set of curls, then a set of squats. In other words, constantly be working a muscle but from a different part of the body.  Is this bad good, or just the same as a normal workout.

Need to get my diet under control

My husband and I are both diabetic. We are both on oral meds right now, but are having trouble knowing what kind of diet to follow. We both work, but do not have insurance to see a diabetic diet counselor. Is there anywhere online that I can get the diet information from? Thank you,Carrie
