Why am I gaining weight?

Interested in what works to lose weight for a mother of 2 and married 15 years

I have 2 teenage girls and I still cannot lose the weight that want.  I would like to be at least near the size I was when I had my last child in 1994.  I have tried everything and nothing has worked, except taking Adapex from the doctor.  Any suggestions?
