Hi Angel of Saturn:)   You can safely get close to the 10-15 pound mark.  If you want to lose the weight and keep if off, I don't recommend shooting for more than 2 pounds a week.  That is realistic and doable.  If you try to lose at a faster rate, you'll probably gain it back.  So, 2 pounds a week would get you down another 8 pounds!  Congrats on the 30 pounds you've already lost!   Enjoy your time with your mom:)   Lisa Nelson, RD, LN Lose Weight
