I've heard it works for some people. I tried the curves circuit at a gym that I attend and found it lacking. You can't adjust the weight you're lifting so you can never get any stronger than what it's set at. Seems really lame to me. Now--at a REAL curves center, there may be a difference. I just don't know. I'd say just doing anything at all could help and maybe curves would be a good start but I can't imagine it as a long-term fitness routine.
