Q: How do I tone up my stomach and thighs?

Hey, I need help in trying to tone up. I am a 17 year old girl. I'm 5'7 and I weigh 122 lbs. My BMR is 1371 and I am really not sure what that means. I also have no idea how to eat healthy. Can you help witht that? I run/walk about two miles every day and I do other exercises for my stomach including sit-ups, but I still have a layer of fat over my stomach. How do I get rid of it? Any advice about exercising and eating healthy will help me out a lot. Thank you.

BMR is the Basal Metabolic Rate. It is how many calories you burn just lying around not doing anything.

______

You probably have very strong abs given your exersise levels and i'm suprised that you have a layer of fat over them at such a slim weight. It is really hard for me to tell you to lose weight.

You may find it very difficult to tone up your thighs because this is where a lot of girls your age and a little younger pack on a lot of fat.
