I keep seeing postings about "what doesn't work" and certain exercises that are "a waste of time" for the stomach and abdomen. I am middle-aged and overweight. For goodness sake! I've got to get rid of this flab! Can't someone please give a few serious suggestions on which exercises are best suited for attacking this problem. I would appreciate it. PS: What does the term "body sculpting" mean? Can you explain?
Typically the term sculpting you body is simply referring to exercising and eating in a way to make yourself look good. There are many many different ways to help your core out. First if you can do aerobic exercises they will help. Even though it wont feel like your stomach muscles are the ones working the exercise will help you burn fat and the fat will just come from where ever it is. Also pilates or yoga might be good for you. Since you dont sound like the heavy lifting type these types of exercise have been extremely beneficial to many middle aged woman. They are hard at first but youl get used to them if you have a good amount of perseverence and they will help you out tremendously.
