1200 Calorie diet?
Hi, I have put myself on a 1200 calorie diet. I was told that I should eat all 1200 during the day, no less. What if its the end of the day, I'm really full and just cant eat anymore?
Also, with this 1200 calorie diet, the calories that I burn off exercising, do I eat those calories too, or do I stay to my 1200 calories not including exercise?
hi-i actually am on a 1200 calorie diet too and i excercise during the day-i do not eat extra calories as that defeats the purpose of cutting the other calories-so i would not eat those calories -and 1200 calories isnt really that much so you should beable to consume that-if you are having problems eating that much try eating bigger meals in the morning and lunch and lighter at dinner I find that helps with energy as well-hope that helped some

Actually you're wrong. The body needs a minimum of 1200 calories to maitain basic organ and bodily functions if you're a woman. When you exercise, you must eat 1200 plus whatever you exercise, as this means your deficit won't be under 1200.
Example: Exercise 500 calories at the gym, eat 1200 + 500 = eat 1700 calories to lose weight. You will still have the same calorie deficit to lose weight without putting your body through starvation misery, as the deficit on days that you exercise comes from the exercise rather than the cutting of calories from diet.
I am also on a 1200 calorie diet, I notice great results when I eat what I exercise. Eating back the calories doesn't defeat the purpose, consider it 'banking'. You don't eat them back and watch your metabolism slow.
