Q: what exercise will help the lower Abs?

Whenever I do sit-ups or crunches, I notice that it only works the upper abs, and I end up having a 'pouch' instead of a flat stomach. Are there any alternatives to sit-ups and crunches that will focus on the lower abs?

Hello ninipopo+hopie,

Dont give up on the crunches and sit-ups. But add in some leg lifts, and some turns in your crunches. Try lying on your back and lifting your strait legs towards the sky. you can hold them just off the ground, lift them all the way up multiple times or a combination of the two. Try doing crunchs on your side and focus your energy on your lower abs.
