my wife was recently diagnosed with Churg-Strauss Syndrome (vasculitis). We are hoping this might be an error. Nonetheless, as the standard method of treatment is the use of steroids, she is on daily dose of 60 mg. Undoubtedly this can become toxic, at least by now and wish to curtail some of the negative effects by going through some internal cleansing using one of myriad herbal " programs". We are careful to ingest good foods consistent with the situation but believe her system could use the extra attention this way. Have looked at a milder form (ie. for the beginner "cleansee") but worry about how it might interfere with the prednisone and its beneficial, albeit overpowering, effects. Anyone with experience, opinions?

Please, please watch the movie entitled "Fat,Sick and Nearly Dead". It addresses cleansing via juicing fresh fruits and vegetables and chronicles a 30 day juice fast with plenty of vitamin nutrition. Both of these men were on high doses of Prednisone and were Dr. supervised during this juice fast. At the end of 60 days, they were both off of prednisone. My husband and I tried it, but I continued to eat and juiced just for the vitamins. I feel so much better and so does he. Good luck to you both!
