Any advice for someone trying to cut down on sweets?
I have a feeling I eat too many sweets - candy, ice cream, and a lot of sweetened iced tea. I know I need to cut back so I can lose some weight, but short of throwing it all out, I don't know where to start!
I've found that going cold turkey for a day helps me. Then after that things like yogurt and fresh fruit seem to meet all my sweet needs. If I get past that first day, I thrive on flavored yogurt - the lowfat. I often mix it with the vanilla because the sweet of fruit is just too much for me.
