Q: i take 6mile - 2hr walks afew times a wk. i feel great but my fingers swell..why?

i take long walks afew time a wk (6mile-2hr) and i noticed my fingers swelling alittle..why?

Hi babbab57, I have this exact thing. Any exercise longer than half an hour and my hands and fingers swell and go a bright pink colour (I'm white, and very pale) with splotchy while dots sometimes and a bit sweaty...ewwww sounds so gross when you write it down. It doesn't hurt but is just wierd. My mum has the same thing and she warms-down while holding her hands up in the air to increase circulation... I'd also be very interested if any one knows why this is happening. Owl
