Hi Miya!

I totally understand your frustration.  It is so very disheartning to watch a scale go up even a little bit.  What I did to combat that awful feeling is literally throw away my scale.  I know, it sounds crazy and it is important to know how much you weigh.  But, I knew that being so discouraged all the time was not the right solution, either.

Instead, I take a very good look at how my clothes fit, how I look to myself and, most importantly, how I feel on a day-to-day basis.

Scale fluctuation can't really be avoided, especially if you are a female of childbearing years (TOM). Google "why the scale lies" to learn why this is so, and RELAX! it's 300% normal. :-)

I've maintained an 80 lb weight loss for 6+ years. My weight goes up and down w/in a roughly 4 lb range. Accordingly, I have a RANGE that is my "normal weight," not a single weight.

Try it. Set up a "happy range" and live in it.
