Q: im 12 years old and i need to lose 10 ponds in 2 weeks!

hello,I am 12 years old and i am 145-150 pounds and i want to lose weight because kids at school make me feel bad because im overweight and i am the last one running in p.e. and sometimes my cousins make some bad comments about my weight and i dont know what to do anymore so if you can give me advice on how to lose weight i will really really appreciate it.Laughing

Dont try to lose weight that fast especially at your age. Remember, your body still thinks you are growing.

you want to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks

or should i say ponds lol

well....

burn 500calories a day and by a week youll lose 1 pound and by 2 weeks 2pounds

you cant lose weight that quickly no way

a pound has 3500 calories in it

1 pound = 3500

2 pounds=7000

WELL IM 12 ND I WIEGHT 210 ND IT LOOKS LIKE I WIEGHT 150

 

ND I LOST 10 POUNDS WALKING FOR JUST 20 MINS EVERDAY ND BY THE END OF THE WEEK YU HAVE AREADY LOST 10 POUNDS

 

ALSO DRINK LOTS ND LOTS OF WATER ND NO NO NO SODA

1. always eat breakfats

2. when you eat dinner always eat light. dont eat after 8p.m., and dont eat later than 3hrs before bedtime

3. dont starve yourself

4. eat small meals

5.exercise 3-4 times a week

6. drink 8 ounces of water every day

Listen!

i heard a millions of times before!

people make fun of you because your overweight.So you eat to make yourself happy.Dont, its a bad habit.Ive been threw it.

It worked for me so i quess this will work for you.

1.eat breakfast!dont starve your self

2. Eat slower, the food isnt going to run away

3.drink water instead of soda and juice.

4. fix your hair,do your nails,shave,decorate your room anything to get your mind off of food

5.Depend on God,have faith in Him.

6. buy an animal,a turtle guineapig hamster.Look at what they eat to stay healthy nd be like a mother and care for it,that took my mind off of food.and put your mind on a life that depends on you.Trust me, youll feel loved and special.Wink

Hey, im 12 and only weigh 110 pounds. I am 5 ft. 2 in. tall . In my free time I play outside. I normally swim, go climb some trees, or just walk around outside for about half an hour per day. I mainly drink water and milk ( I only have milk once a day) . My diet consists of for breakfast normally at least a banana and fruit cup if not whole grain cereal, for lunch i normally have a lunch meat sandwhichon whole wheat bread , and for dinner i eat whole grain pasta  with  low  sodium  sause, or chicken and salad. You should lay off dairy  products besuase they make you gain weight faster and increase your breast size. If you like to drink a lot of milk go with lactose or soy milk as they contain less fat. Well I hope this helps youTongue out

If you are a....

-male gender: then don't worry at all! Guys lose weight all the time through playing sports. You'll get a growth spurt which will make you taller without gaining any weight which will make you look thinner and your voice becomes manly. (I've seen plenty of guys suddenly grow taller and lose all that extra fat in their legs,arms, and stomach during the summer!!) Just eat less fat foods and swim, play more sports, and sleep earlier!!

-female gender: you should try to grow taller. Try to grow as tall as you can be then you can diet all you want by eating less fat and calories and start burning more calories... Most teenage girls aren't able to grow taller because they diet too fast. When you get stressed out, think of your future, how you can turn out tall and thin. Meanwhile, stop eating those fat foods and work out by playing sports, and GO TO SLEEP EARLIER!!!

  i im 210 pounds and 12 yuears old i dont look that much but all the kids in school are so skinny i wanna be 110 i no i can do it but im so tired i just wanna lose weight it well make my life better and i wont feel  fat i just need help i Need answers?

im 12 too im not obesse im skinny and blonde but i have acne and im not pretty in my opnion i weigh 120 pounds and im 5'8 but i dont hav a  pretty stomach ive been like eating well and running but nothings works i just wana lose ten pounds why is it sooo hard?! :(

We're so the same Rose. I had a problem with that too. I was fat then too. What I did Rose is, I only lessen the food that I eat. For example :

 

For *Breakfast (I eat 3 full plates and I finish all my viands )

For *Lunch  (I ate all of my food inside my lunch box)

For *Dinner (I eat about 3-5 plates because of such a tiring day and eat extra stuffs like: chocolates, biscuits etc..) 

 

I lessen all of that but not too much. Just enough Rose. I don't want to abuse myself. But sometimes the lessened food that I eat aren't just enough, but I still sacrifice. I disciplined myself and tried to avoid some food. My body just got used with it anyway.

 

Of course here are some tips that I learned too:
1.)Eat vegetables, avoid eating meats always. (They really have lots of fats in that most especially pork) 

2.)Have regular exercise. (You can do running, or jogging. Brisk walking. Of course do some warm-up exercise before you do that. We don't want to strain our muscles)

3.)Drink lots of water (Except when it's already past 7:00pm. I recommend you to stop drinking lots of water on that time because it can make you fat too.

 

But of course Rose, being overweight isn't healthy. I am recommending you more to visit a prescribed someone to help you, like a PHYSICIAN. Maybe he/she could help. 

By the way, I'm 12 too. :) Good luck Rose!
