Hi jen,

I think prenatal vitamins are very important for both you and your baby, during my pregnancy I was constantly sick from the prenatal vitamins, throwing up all day and staying very weak and sick but I stuck with it and eventually the sickness went away, it took about 6 months to go away but it did. Your doctor can give you nausea medicine and if you start getting sick every day all day like I did it is important to stay hydrated but keep going with the vitamins, during pregnancy your baby takes alot of nutrients and calcium from your body which you may not realize now but you will after the baby is born, I have known people who took excellent care of their teeth to lose them after their child was born due to lack of calcium. Good luck, congratulations on your new baby, and remember to always to whats best for that little bambino their health depends on you.
