what do you do if you have one kidney and blood in urine and bladder infection?

I am 54 years old, and i lost my right kidney on 4/26/08 and i think i am doing good. I went to the doctor last week and i had a bladder infection. he gave me 6 ills to take for 3 days. Do i need to get checked again to see if the blood is gone ? I had a renal mass, and it was not cancer. I am afraid because when i had 2 kidney i had blood in my urine.I need help so i want end up on akidney machine. I have high blood pressure my parent and 4 sisters has it also. Can you give me some advice on what i can eat, i am going to start back on my excerise. I have a pinched nerve in my neck. I have had 2 back surgery, and i am having problem with my lower back, it is in my hips. Please help me out, i want to live a long life to see all my 18 grandkids. Hope to hear from you all soon
