what do you do if you have one kidney and blood in urine and bladder infection?

I am 54 years old, and i lost my right kidney on 4/26/08 and i think i am doing good. I went to the doctor last week and i had a bladder infection. he gave me 6 ills to take for 3 days. Do i need to get checked again to see if the blood is gone ? I had a renal mass, and it was not cancer. I am...
