Q: I am 30 lbs underweight. I smoke. If I quit smoking will I reach my ideal body weight?

I am 22 years old, 5'10", medium frame, and 136 lbs. I have smoked since I was 14. According to an Ideal body weight calculator I should be between 166 and 184 lbs. If I were to quit smoking would I reach my ideal body weight? I have heard that smoking can keep your weight down and I am tired of being skinny. How can I quickly, naturally, and safely gain the weight to put me at my ideal body weight?

HI IF YOU DO STOP SMOKEING YOU WILL GAIN A BETTER APPETITE BECAUSE WHEN YOU SMOKE IT SURPRESSES YOUR APPETITE AND YOU RAPLACE FOOD WITH CIGARETS MY MUM WAS THE VERY SAME THEN SHE STOPED SMOKEING AND SHE STARTED GAINING WEIGHT.
