How would I connect with Dr. Radic or Dr. Annear?? Could my family doctor referre me?

I live in Fredericton , N.B. I am 38 year old women and I hurt myself at work back on November 9th of 2005...I was pulling a cart that weighed anywhere between 200 and 300lbs.. The cart had a bad wheel.. I gave the cart a good yank and at the sametime I heard a loup POP or KNOCKING sound that echoed throughout my body and it was so loud that it echoed in my eardrums... I then let out a loud scream in pain and ever since then I have not been able to use my right leg without limping... I had underwent all the wrong test and even underwent and surgery that I did not need because no test were done before hand... The doctors assumed it was a hernia.. because I had burning in my groin and pain in my pelvis area and leg.. The pain was so bad in the groin that it felt that something was broken... THe doctors here have done MRI's CT's and even a MRI using dye and nothing is showing up..

I still canno't walk properly for that I use a cane and I have to sit on ice to freeze the area between my legs.. I am a mother of 2 teenage boys and this injury whatever it is? Is still their and has really taken away almost 3 years of my life... I read the article on pelvic sports injuries by Dr. Ross Radic and Peter Annear and it really sounds similar to what I am suffering with... My family Doctor is going to referre me to a doctor that knows about this injury a little better and I was just wondering if I was referred if these doctors could help me??

p.s. I just want to walk again without this pain.. It seems to be only getting worse and at this point I am really scared...email.. jl_comeau@hotmailcom...(506) 457-7498...Please Help....

                                                                                      Sincerely,

                                                                                      Julie Comeau

Hello Julie,

I would try checking with your health insurance website to see if they have a list of Doc's who may be able to help you.

Thanks for the question.
