Q: why is my BMI in a normal wt. however, my wt is above for the calculations of ideal body wt.

Hello Mmarks,

 

One thing that may account for this is the frame size. Are you sure you entered your frame size properly? try using different frame sizes. The "fingers touching method" doesnt work for everyone when trying to determine frame size. For instance I have very long fingers and they touch easily but I have a medium frame judging on the rest of my body... I hope this evens it out for you.
