Hi,

Unfortunately, the deep fried foods should be saved for the rare special occasion!

Here are menu terms to avoid:

au gratin in cheese sauce or parmesan, buttered or buttery, breaded and fried; casserole, hash, or pot pie; creamed, creamy, cream sauce; fried, French fried, deep fried, batter fried, pan fried, crispy; hollandaise; gravy; pastry; rich; scalloped or escalloped.

Terms to select:

baked or roasted; broiled, grilled, poached, steamed; fresh; garden fresh; in its own juices; lean; lightly sautéed or stir-fried

Hope that helps,

All the best,
