Q: how can i lose my belly fat without taking diet supplements

i'm just starting my workout exercise and is wondering how can i eliminate my bellyfat without taking diet supplements? and also is it true the more cardio i put into my workout the faster the belly fat would go away? please someone help. i weight 181 and is trying to lose 35 pds after dealing with stress and a bad marriage. I'm proportion pretty decent it's not in one place.
