Q: what should my weight be if i'm 5 feet and 8 inches tall?and i'm a male!

i have high blood pressure and i dont know if its because of my weight i weigh 210,i'm  27 years and i'm 5 feet 8 inches tall i just would like to know what my proper weight would be?please help and give me an estament and what causes high blood pressure?

i would suggest that you lose weight. Unless, of course, that weight is muscle mass. Maybe start with a real attainable goal..could be to get down to 200 in 6 or 8 or 10 weeks. Whatever. As long as you are losing the weight, your body will thank you. Because you are young i think it is quite possible for you to get down to 160-170 and keep it there for the long haul, but don't worry about this yet. Only have 5 lbs in your mind at a time, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy.
