Hey I'm 11 and I think I'm Heavier than a lot of my friends I do cheerleading, Dancing, Swimming, Netball and lots and lots of Walking! I'm not fat and none of my friends say I'm fat when they give me a backy But I dont know if there just being nice. I'm a normal height for my age. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried eating REALLY healthily and so far I've lost 2 pounds. I'm not a dieting freak or REALLY skinny dont worry. Can someone tell me some tips or something Please :) Byeeeee <3

Hi Litto-Roxxi

We all tend to compare ourselves to others too often and yet we forget how wondefully made we are. From your question I think you are a very mature 11 year old and not only that, you are sensible and active. You cheerlead, dance, swim, play net ball and even get backy's :-)  Enjoy your life growing up.  You sound happy, be a good student, a loving daughter, a loyal, caring and trustworthy person and above all have Fun! This is what is important right now.

I'm glad you are thinking about diet and exercise, the best advice I can give you is to keep up your physical activities at your age you need about 1 hour every day of physical activity. When it comes to food, eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I'm cheering for  you Litto-Roxxi!

If you're doing cheerleading, dancing, swimming, netball and walking, you'd have to be eating an awful lot to be overweight.  Today, many girls think stick thin is the way to be.  It's not.  At 11 perhaps you're starting to develop the women's curves and breasts.  That's great.  And it's not fat - it's shapely.  When you really wonder, take a look on the internet for the most recent America's Next Top Model.  She's what you should want to look like - and believe me she is beautiful without being stick thin.  And remember, if you should ever be teased about your weight and you are this active, it's probably that someone else is jealous because they haven't yet developed like you have.  (Keep an eye on the boys and who they look at - no doubt it's you and not them.)
