Q: What cardio exercise burns the most per hour, walking or water aerobics, or weight lifting

I want to lose about 12 pounds of body fat- What exercises would you suggest and how often? I'd like to lose it within the next 30 days.

Thanks!

Use the combo approach for the best results.

Try 30-60 minutes of aerobics daily, 6 days/week.

Choose 2-3 of those days to do 30 minutes of intense aerobic exercise plus 30-45 minutes of weight training (the other days can be just cardio)

Doing different cardio activities can keep your body challenged and not "used to the same routine" so you can alternate between brisk walking, waterobics and other aerobic activities.

Remember that your eating plan is a big part of this equation so make sure you are following some balanced program with calorie counting in mind.
