Q: How To Loose Weight

I want to loose about 30 pounds in 3 months for a wedding I have to go to.  I have a very poor appetite and dont know what to do.  I was told I have to eat in order to loose weight and for my metabolism to work.  I dont want to take any kind of pills to help me eat because it may make me continue to eat and get fat.  I dont have a appetite to eat so I dont.  Is there something that can be done for me, please help.  Thanks

If you do not eat, I think my first question is: What is your Body Mass Index (BMI)? Maybe you do not need to lose weight because you are already in a health weight range (18.5-24.9). Maybe you are underweight (below 18.5). If you do in fact need to lose weight, 10 pounds per month is a bit rapid. Your goal should be achieving a healthy weight gradually and maintaining it with good eating habits.

 

Eating primarily fruits and vegetables is a great place to start. Avoiding processed foods and animal fats is also a good starting point. The best way to start your day is with a good breakfast .

 

Find joy in eating food and you will enjoy good health (wedding or no wedding).
